My name is Gregory Nathan England.

Although I have been a visual artist for as long as I can remember, I began my education in the visual arts during high school the late 1990’s.  I continued my continued my formal training in college and then graduate school, earning a BFA in photography and an MFA in Studio Art.

After completing my MFA, I accepted an opportunity to teach art at the college level.  While teaching in my home state of West Virginia I continued to produce and exhibit my work. I also wrote and implemented the first Associate of Fine Arts degree program in the state.

I now live in McAllen, Texas where I serve as a fulltime faculty member in the Art Department at South Texas College.

I have worked in a multitude of media and formats.  I am interested in color, image, texture, visual economy, pointed imagery, and open ends.
